yeah but that's mostly because most my Christmas presents were clothes... the gifts themselves were often pretty boring but the wrapping let me pretend a little longer they weren't

Load times from optical media are horrible. But with everyone going to "gotta install the game on the hard drive" bs is their "fix" instead of switching off optical media. Quite frankly optical is dirt cheap, but digital is now so...

I wonder if distributing via cartridge just makes it too difficult on developers to make it worth it. Nintendo does tend to have less third party titles than other systems if I remember correctly. and I do know they at least own the trademark for the chip used in the cartridges for the game software. May also be that the other console companies don't want to devote the time to making a chip/design for their own cartridges when they can just cheaply slap things onto a disc.

local gas station has a self serve espresso machine and they just charge a flat rate of like 2$ no matter what you get.
so i just fill my cup with shots while quietly singing “shots shots shots shots shots” to myself.

It holds nine shots.
I call it the Kyuubi.
