You know what absolutely *** pisses me off? When I get in someone's car and they have country music on and it's one of those songs where some of the lyrics are presented as a conversation, but it's a conversation that would never happen.
I got in my brother's truck a few weeks ago and one song was on about "where I come from" or "my town" or some *** *** like that and the implication was that the singer's small town was safe and family friendly or something. The lyrics were "well see that door right there? It ain't never locked."
No one really has that conversation because it's irrelevant. It doesn't mean your town is safe, it implies you're a terrible husband and father for not locking the goddamn door and keeping your family safe at night.
Just watched, "The Hateful Eight," and it was damn good. Though I can't help but feel like it was just Reservoir Dogs all over again, but in 1800s setting.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
