What are those repercussions?

I can't say for certain as I have no basis of experience outside of working nights only twice a week intermittently for the past year, but now that it's all I'll do, I'm concerned of anecdotal testimony of it being rather taxing on both mind and body. It's hard to refute that humans were better fitted for being diurnal rather than the former.
But on the bright side, it's a guaranteed 40 hours every week, I get an overnight and Sunday premium, and for the most part it is rather slow or outright stagnant late at night. Might be a good way to catch up on my reading. Been spoiled by Amazon's audio books.
You'll adjust to the night/day swap after a while and it's not a big deal. The more difficult part is maintaining relationships with friends/family, since it becomes difficult to find a time that's not terrible for at least 1 of you.

I suppose that's true. Luckily I don't have that many friends, so catering my lifestyle around a time frame to interact with them shouldn't be an issue, as I typically go straight to bed when I get home just before 9 A.M. and usually sleep until 3 to 4pm, it leaves me with the rest of the afternoon and a majority of my evening to do things. Only downside is having it cut short when I leave to get ready at 11.

I spent a good year and a half working the midnight shift as a security guard. If you aren't prepared for it, yes it will drain you mentally and physically. If you already have some night shifts going, it's easier to deal with, and less of a strain. Also, the switch to night shift can bugger up your appetite, which is where the fatigue really comes from.

And if you're already a night owl, it's no big deal at all.

My sister is in New Zealand for the summer doing a fellowship for school and holy crap they have so many Tim tams lol

Just one type in Canada of the original flavour, lol.

Just one flavor? Bold faced lie! I saw 3 *THREE* flavors at my local Safeway store. Original, Caramel, and Dark Chocolate.

I demand your firstborn daughter as recompense. And if you only have sons, well, you'll just have to keep trying!

i made a scooby doo sammich for dinner

EDIT: Paged!

It's called the Dagwood...

YouTube Video Placeholder
Mine only uses 2 pieces of bread though...

basic build listed in order top to bottom:

bread (French or Italian with the center partially scooped out)
mayo
sambal oelek (ground fresh chili paste)
mustard (optional)
onion (I like a lot of onion)
bacon
chives
easy over egg
ham
deli meat (turkey)
deli sliced cheese (jack/swiss)
pepperoni
deli meat (roast beef)
bell pepper
sambal oelek (again)
avocado
thick slice of tomato
lettuce
pepperoncini
jalapeno
cucumber chips
thousand island
deli sliced cheese (jack/swiss)
bread

I like to toast my sammich in a pan with a weight on top of it.
but I only do this if I add the cold ingredients, sauce, and egg after the toasting because wilted lettuce and warm pickles are nasty imo. and the order of the ingredients will drastically change the taste and texture and durability of the sammich.
try eating the second half of any sammich upside down and taste will change.

i prefer to make a sandwich with a specific flavor in mind. i do the same with pizza. i can't do the whole, "little bit of everything" stuff. the taste is too cluttered.
