Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Candlejack said: » Anna Ruthven said: » Ok, I mentioned my brother got a job and he's now in the stages of starting; paperwork, background check, drug test, etc. So, drug test is next week and he asked my niece for something to help him cheat. Something she can't get till like tomorrow. He asked yesterday and has been losing his ***ever since. Today, my niece came home to him standing in the drive way, waiting for her. "Did you get it?" "No, I can't till tomorrow, I told you." "MY WHOLE FUTURE IS RIDING ON IT...." a shouting rant starts. So, he's absolutely losing his mind, can't sleep, keeps calling and driving my niece crazy, coming down here, throwing fits and...and it's just *** beautiful. It really is. The funniest thing is he could've taken the test and started the other day but put it off till next week. Dad asks why he didn't just take it the other day and have me pee in a vial. His answer: "He takes benadryl." The stupidity is beautiful. So your solution to clean a mess is to take a ***on it and light your wallet on fire...? Anna Ruthven said: » benadryl he knows they don't fail for that, right? Or is that redneck for smack? Welp. Not posting any spoilers, but as of the latest trailer for the next arc, Dragon Ball Super has officially gone into pic related territory.
Always treat guns as though they are loaded, ugh. That's the kind of irresponsibility that gets people dusted >_<

I want blued/heat treated finish, 5.5" barrel and in .45 Colt. Would kinda like to find a decent used one since I could pretty easily repair anything that's work out myself. Speaking of, I was pretty surprised how simple the internals of the Schofield are.
When they are imported, they have to have some sort of safety, on a Schofield clone, this is a sliding piece that creates a "safety position" but no one in their right mind ever uses it and it gets out of time easily. Mine lasted 10 shots and, boom, out of time. So, I removed it. For a single action, unless it's a Ruger, a Magnum Research BFR, or a Freedom Arms, load 5 and leave an empty chamber under the hammer. My dad still asks why I only load 5. >.> He's seen too many westerns. EDIT: Also, since I'm pretty OCD and ammo comes in boxes of 20, 25, and 50, loading 5 is preferable to me. >.> schizm2 said: » Asura.Vyre said: » Always treat guns as though they are loaded, ugh. That's the kind of irresponsibility that gets people dusted >_< The funny thing, as he was passing the rifle around, he said go ahead, do what you want, you can even pull the trigger. After the rifle got back to him he aimed at something and pulled the trigger and shot the window. In his defense, he did cycle the bolt three times, but just to shows you need to check any weapon to make sure it's empty. He'll I am going to check my shotgun right now to make sure it's empty. Then tomorrow, it's Skeet and Trap shooting at high Noon!!! I usually (when I duck hunted) used Remington steel shot for hunting and Whinchester cheap-*** white box for fun shooting.
schizm2 said: » Now I just need to pick which shells I am going to use tomorrow. Might I recommend the "Sea" variety? I have a Stoeger Uplander double barrel, dual triggers. I've never hunted with it so it has never been fired one barrel at a time. >.>
"Why the hell do you do that, boy?" "I like the kick." Thinking of making it my hunting gun (if I ever go again) and putting an 18" barrel on my Mossberg 500 with a pistol grip. (Which is legal.) Funny thing was, I think I got the Uplander on my 18th birthday (I bought it as I was legally able to iirc) and when I told the guy I wanted dual triggers, the guy looked at me like "Are you *** insane?"
He said "nowadays, one trigger is what people look for but I think I have what you want." He went in the back and came out with my Uplander and an antique 16 gauge. I chose the Uplander because no one really sells 16 gauge ammo anymore. EDIT: Same store, a couple years later, my brother had just bought a .500 S&W. 8" ported barrel, padded Hogue grips and he's still like "damn this kicks hard!" So I'm like, "Eh, I can top that." Go to the shop "I want an Encore pistol, walnut stocks in .45-70." again, the dude looks at me like I'm nuts, brings me out a box. 15" barrel, no porting, single shot with solid wood grips. Mine kicks harder. Don't think I've even ever seen a 16 gauge.

Kojo gets his kicks when he discharges a load from a bigger barrel than his brother's.
