Most of the stealable stuff isn't missable; it's just a way to get it earlier, which is good because then you can learn the skills earlier.
Jump Rope King key item or whatever is totally missable though. :I

I've been planning to watch a 100% playthrough of FFIX (well, minus the Excalibur II, of course). I only played it twice, and I think I missed some stuff. It's got a good story and I forgot most of its intricacies anyways so yeah.

Oh, and I never bothered to play much Tetra Master (I enjoyed Triple Triad very much for its simplicity).

There is one you can only get by getting to the end of the game dungeon in under 8 hours or something.

there are chests you can skip and you can skip fmvs, not do qte, and spam through story.

Plus the PC version has a bunch of buff things that probably make that easier.

I'm just gunna (mostly) casual it up the first time through though.

Yeah. Seems possible on PC with the various options. Dunno about old school.

Also, related:

Starting a new ME2 save. Ubskippable cutscenes are the worst.
