I bloody hate that.
I forgot to pack my lunch last night until I'm drifting off to sleep so I shake myself out of bed and throw together a sandwich, too lazy to measure out anything else. So now I've got a sandwich and a couple clementines to get me through the next 12 hours or so.

-level 15 blm gets Stonega for the lvl 23 gigas's bat pet in lower delfkutt
-Level 19 blm/blu cocoon manaburn oldton movopolos gets waterga for the lvl 28 goblin bat pet ftw
-level 28 blm/nin higher oldton burn gets firaga finally for the lvl 38 goblin pet
-level 48 blm/nin finally gets aeroga II for the lvl 61 goblin's bat, then it's all smooth sailing to eke staves
That's a lot of -ga on pets with masters nearby...
I definitely did the pet leveling route myself back in the day. Level 51 getting ele staves and ancient magic was freakin' great.
Edit: You know the urge to relapse is strong when you were a life-long DD devotee and you even kinda wanna go back and play your mage jobs.

I realize he's not a universally recognized icon like David Bowie, but mother *** this year won't relent. The man was one of the classic voices in prog rock. (Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, King Crimson's first album, etc., if you're familiar with the acts but maybe not the man.)
Probably doesn't merit its own thread, but never-the-less.

With as many of these make the news you have to wonder how frequently it's actually happening.
Happened in my high school once that I know of that got caught. A teacher I actually really liked and respected got shitcanned for fooling around with a student. Makes me wonder how much it went on otherwise.
People will do the nasty, probably more than we ever want to know.

I don't think that's accurate at all.
In fact, specifically in the case I know of at my school, the teacher was a younger, quite dashing fellow with a very attractive wife and two beautiful daughters.

I figure it happens pretty frequently, honestly. A lot of teachers are in their early 20s, and they're really not all that much older and developed than the students they are teaching. Like I know if I was teaching high school juniors/seniors right now, it would be easy for me to forget that they were all younger than me by 8~9 years. Especially ones with higher levels of intelligence/maturity.
