I'm not a parent but if you say "I'm gonna bust your ***!" to your kid and he says "No! I'll bust YOUR ***!" You should probably have your own *** busted for teaching your three-year-old profanity.

The concept of profane language is religious in nature, I have no problem with them using it. There is an issue with violence on children though :| This.
Besides, any kid who spends more than a few moment near me is screwed language wise. I can cover up for a day or 2 but "***" for me is like salt for most Americans, it must be sprinkled onto and in everything possible.
Also for some reason I never remember "***" is a "bad word."

joined a 90-100 PoTD run one night,
weird combo, BRD WHM SMN(me) ARC...
one of these are not like the other!
so noticing this, i became triggered "ok, mebee he can pull his weight..."
checked him, both armor and weapon in the 20's
"ugh.."
then noticed him wandering around engaging stuff solo with his carbuncle. saved him a couple times.
4 floors in, bard votes to kick him due to AFK, I just assumed he had died wandering around, but after voting initiated, he had Dc'd
voted yes. person comes back online, only to be booted, whm tossed a fit, maybe his buddy, and left. bard and me cleared 2 floors before we had a full party again.

It's an issue of manners. Kids don't know when it's inappropriate to use profanity and when they do it reflects the parents badly.

The grind is real.
The drop rate on currency in the current event is *** awful, but the prices on ***from King Mog hasn't changed from the previous event.
~60 gears per run (~100 if I can get a friend with a XIII character).
160 gears per item.

lulz, I wish I did, I'd be productive (dicking off) instead of doing work. I hear that. Half the time during my lunch breaks/downtime I kinda wish I could just pop in a game and play for a bit, or at least hop onto discord or something.

Edit: Just because the information is out there isn't enough, kids don't know how to interpret said information correctly and come up with their own conclusions. They let somebody else do that for them.....

You can't just lie to a young person anymore and them be helpless to find the truth themselves within seconds to see if you're telling the truth. Imagine a parent or politician lying 30 years ago to the youth; they would have no way to find out for themselves or each little tidbit would take weeks of research.
Yet politicians lie directly to the American people all the time and so rarely have to face repercussions. Many people just accept it and even defend them for it.
People are dumb. Generation be damned. Generational bickering and blaming is just another way people distract from what's really going on around you.

For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
