Yeah we don't have to get into it, I just wanted to type it out and vent and see if I felt like it was just me being paranoid.

Something to look forward to

Suddenly I'm happy I have to go to sleep early tonight cause I got class tomorrow.

working on a weapon+dungeon-to-get-it mod. need to get my girlfriend to retexture the blade but have some cool effects going on for while it's drawn in your hands...

Make a quest for it where you have to collect 20 random drops from enemies in different regions of Skyrim, then you have to do duties for various holds to get special currencies to buy 40 unidentified items to trade along with items you have to craft for 4 special items, then do MORE duties to get MORE currencies to buy special oils....

Too feel better, channel my inner nerd and dance to this >.>

That, and there's one with vocals, which I thought they were really cool when I first watch those years ago
Here's my personal favorite one

I get a little teary eyed and tight-throat when God Knows comes on. I just remember watching Haruhi during my first deployment and when I got to that part being like... anime is amazing, anime will get me through this.

Whenever I was having a stressful day, and particularly in Boot Camp, I'd sing songs in my head from video games to keep calm and carry on. Sometimes anime theme songs too.

Of course. Watched the hell out of that back in the day too.

So I had a little girl flat out pass out on me, today.

I don't mean pass out as in she zoned out or fell asleep at her desk. I mean she literally lost consciousness. We were doing presentations when she walked up to me and asked me if she could step outside for a moment. I was grading and watching the presentation at the time, so I didn't pay it much mind and assumed she just needed a quick second to grab some fresh air, so I said no problem and assumed that was that.

Suddenly I hear her stubbing her toe on a desk as she was on her way out. The lights were out so I assumed she just didn't see the desk's legs in front of her. I glanced over at her direction after she did this and as she started walking again, she slammed her body against the door to the laptop cart I have in my classroom. She had my full attention at that point. After that she started stumbling as though something was obviously wrong with her and she collapsed in a chair that was next to the door. At that point, her body went limp.

I flipped my ***and ran to her side to see if she was okay. After a little rousing, she seemed to have come to so I asked if she was okay. She responded with, "Hey Mr. Davis, I don't-" and she passed out again.

I quickly ran to the phone to call security to get there asap to help her out and had a few students carry her outside (as she's a female and if I touched her as a male teacher, it might be... frowned upon). From there the nurse zoomed up there and she was able to get in a wheelchair with a bottle of water. Last thing I saw was her seeming to have regained consciousness and she was being wheeled away, so I just went on with my day and tried to finish class without too much of an issue. No one in the class brought it up though, which I think was the appropriate response to that situation.

But yeah. She scared the crap out of me. On top of that, she's a really nice kid and she's really smart. I haven't heard of what happened, but I'm hoping she's okay. She did have the flu the other day, so that might have been exhaustion or something, but yeah. I'm still really worried about her, but I'm hoping for the best.

Mr. Davis for teacher of the year, damn it!

Thanks, man. I just hope she's okay. It'd tear me up to think that something's seriously wrong with her.
