Use WTFast 14-day free trial. Just select one of their servers that doesn't route through Level 3.

And there we go. Not much different. Some stability and graphics changes. Honest opinion? Not missing much if playing on a PC. ENBs and mods can fill in for a lot of what Special Edition does. One thing I noted was the addition of a Mods tab in the game's save/configs menu.
I'll get some use out of it. I uninstalled at some point and deleted all my mod files too so I will be starting out fresh anyway.
No achievements on Steam though?
So, game breaking glitch already.
Running into the keep I go with Stormbro, I hit the door, but cutscene style I turn around and the dragon shouts at me. I ragdoll, I think the game is reloading me because I died... but it ports me into the keep.
Hands are still bound, and Stormbro is lying dead behind me stuck in the door. No one can untie me.
Game broken.
He isn't "dead" because he is essential. But he is laying prone, stuck in the door. If I stand near him he will "Oooh." and wiggle a little.
I managed to jump on him and made him slide out of the door, but now he is just laying on the floor out in the open saying HEY WATCH IT.

Try opening the console/debug menu and target the guy. Then type resetai
If that one fails to work then use "showquesttargets" to get the ID of your quest you are on.
Then use "getstage <id>" where id is the ID you got from previous command.
Finally use "setstage <id> <stage>" to force it to the next part and maybe that will fix. Or set to previous part to undo.

I actually don't have the option to reinstall the old version. Maybe because I didn't have it installed before special came out.

ok. at this point i'm pretty sure the dragons are attacking isgard just to get out of the churning mists. i mean the place is over run with *** mini trex. i would be trying to get out too. can we get some dravanian refugee assistance going with the eorzian alliance? they need our help not our hate.
