And we can't get blizzards here, we don't have DQ (I assume that's what you mean)

Also called a "Flurry" by McDonald's and many places will use those terms interchangeably or use their own.

It's basically some form of other dessert-type food (cookies, candy bars, etc.) crushed up and mixed into ice cream.
Bah. You want something good that's really cold? Waltz into a Wendy's and ask for a Frosty.

Frosties are good but they're nothing like a Blizzard. A Frosty is basically just chocolate soft serve. :p

Our DQ here does the tropical witout the macadamia nuts. So it's more like a Pina Colada. But when you ask for a Pina Colada, they all give you a confused as *** look.

Where I'm living now, the best pizza chain happens to be Little Caesar's.

I may be off on the nuts? I thought there were nuts in the tropical. Maybe not. It's been a long time since I had one at all, and probably twice as long since I've had the tropical; last time I had one it was a regional variant flavor anyhow that was a marketing team up with the Pittsburgh Penguins. It was like a turtle but also had little pieces of brownie in it.

Super good.
Most of the places I've had the tropical included the macadamia nuts.

I do enjoy the peanut buster parfait though, but like John Oliver has said, "It's the only dessert in the world with the words "nut buster" in it for a dessert"

Bwahaha.

I approve.

Also, I know this is all my fault for bringing up pizza, but RT is definitely ruining my day food wise because I'm not going to be eating a single delicious thing we've discussed here today.

Swedish Church in Australia having Swedish mustard was a life saver

The mustard there was gross
wtf lol
you prefer honey mustard? Dijon? Onion Mustard?
trying to think which plant is native to your island

Everyone here eats this

Linkydinky

The most popular brand in Sweden

The only thing describing it I can find is:

Quote:
Slott's Mustard is the number one brand of mustard in Sweden. This the original recipe - smooth, with just a hint of grain, and mild, with a nutty finish.
Quote:
Slotts senap original – is smooth with a good bite (but not too strong: you can still use this as a condiment to your hotdog), this truly is one of the ... (I didn't click the link lol)

They sell them at IKEA in some countries, have a look if you're ever there lol
there is only one ikea within 1000 KMs (and it's new) and I drive by it like once a year. didn't have the will or energy to go in there this time sadly lol
As ever, Evil Overlord Amazon to the rescue.

Jesus Christ this is expensive

It's a 9-serving candy bar.

roughly $2/serving doesn't seem that bad for imported chocolate.

The *** is a serving (for chocolate)

A serving is just a portion size used to list information and calculate ingredients per person, and a suggested amount of consumption etc

I know that but for chocolate? lol

Never heard anyone use it for that

In America, there's a portion size for everything. Even water.

But most people ignore water, and eat 17x as much as they should.

It actually comes in a huge plastic sack with a spout on it. Oh, the sordid yet true tales I could spill on Wendy's if I had half a mind to do so. Like, take for instance the grill they cook their burger patties on. You never want the beef from the far left side of the grill, because if it sits there for too long it becomes the meat they put into the chili.

You always says these things like they're things none of us know from spending 30 seconds on the internet. -.-

Good news: I DON'T GIVE A ***. I LOVE WENDY'S CHILI AND DON'T CARE IF IT'S DAY-OLD BURGER.

Do you throw your leftovers away at home or do you eat them the next day?

It's heated to appropriate bacteria-killing temperatures, I don't care, it's tasty and that's all that matters.

Yeesh.

Portions are actually problematic in the US and we need to have them reworked across the board. Food marketing and portioning is out the *** of control.

That's weird

*shrug*

It's as good of an indicator as anything.

Generally my feelings on it are they should have to break down all foods into 1) clearly labeling "single serving" packages for the entire package because many snacks are sold in "small" packages but are really 3-4 servings. And 2) break down calories/gram or what amount is 1 calorie, if you're talking something like veggies were it might be <1 calorie per gram.

I'd try it.

I hate myself for it.

But it doesn't like half bad.

Edit: Or, rather, I'd make something similar at home with similar ingredients. Probably wouldn't pay for it outright.

Tasty, but they always had a...chewiness, almost?...that made them not a favorite for me. Like, there was something about their particular chocolate mix that felt off to me.
