Instead of exiting ape form and healing himself with Lustrates, he opts to stand still and wait to die from Shock Therapy. Then he goes purposely through the prompt they added, the, "Are you sure you want to return?" prompt or whatever, and goes back to the instance start.

The dragoon of all people, decides to do bombs after that, and he does them perfectly, so we beat the fight with little trouble. The SCH then lots and wins 3 out 4 of the loot items.
