Maybe the simple answer is they're trying to cut back the censoring to save the floundering company. Nintendo hasn't been getting the sales numbers they used to ages ago when it was just themselves and Sega competing. There's two other brands and PC games to contend with now.
I don't remember the exact numbers but if I recall correctly Nintendo could run in the red for like 100 years before they'd be "floundering."

I can't begin to tell you how much I love watching a thunderstorm roll in over water. It's amazing. I miss being able to do it more or less at will.

I found a MissingNo in Pokemon red/blue/yellow (same location)
Should I try to catch it? It made my game all glitchy when I caught it last time so I didn't save my game... also I only had 1 great ball before starting the fight and then after the fight I had TONS of them. There was like a glitchy symbol plus a number just like when you get massive free lives in Super Mario Bros on World 3-1.
EDIT: I just redid this pokemon fight but got tons of nuggets by replacing the spot where the great ball was... still not sure if I should save my game after this lol
