I made an account on the Kotaku/Lifehacker site so I could post comments on some of their articles.

Weird how my comments, which are critical of Kotaku, have yet to get approved. Yet comments that are just 'Great article gaiz', that came well after mine are all good to go.

This is the kitten I rescued the other evening. She's been well taken care of since, as you can see by how much energy she has here!



Sadly, we can't keep her. We have too many cats already and can't afford to keep another one. Fortunately, we found her a great home yesterday and she'll be going there later this evening. It's very difficult not getting attached, I'll be sad to see her go :/

Quite. Sadly we can't keep her. She'd be cat #6. The other 5 are extremely territorial between themselves already (2 feud with 1 of the others often, nothing major but there is tension there at times). Throw in another cat and we're gonna have major turf wars where the kitten might get hurt or worse :/

Every time I look at her I think of that *** who dumped her out like garbage and I get really angry. She's at least 3 weeks old. That's like dumping off a 3 day old human baby. They have no way of doing ANYTHING themselves. I've had to feed and stimulate the kitten to make her go potty regularly, until she learns to do it herself. Mother Cat usually does this for the kitten until that time, but since *** dropped her off she's been deprived of a lot of things that we have to make up for. At times she just cries for no reason at all, and this is when I believe she's crying for her mother....and it just breaks my heart everytime.

The person who dumped her is extremely lucky I did not see them do it. Human scum.

Our local shelter just had an incident yesterday with an elderly woman who "discovered a cat in her driveway". It was injured, and she called a couple local vets asking them to take it in. No one would come get it for her, so she posted on our shelter's facebook. Unfortunately, because of stupid laws and ***, our shelter can not go into another town and take the animal, so it sat in her driveway, while she argued with people, refusing to take it to a vet herself because she would be charged for it.

It got to a point where people were asking her where to pick it up so THEY could help, but the woman wouldn't post her address or contact info. People tried to message her, but she was an old lady and couldn't figure out where non-friend messages show up.

8 hours later, an off duty DEC officer "disposed of the cat" for her. She told everyone on facebook that she doesn't know what happened to the cat after that, and she didn't get the DEC officers contact info.

On a more positive note, the new tiny office I am going to be in has nice sturdy built in wood shelves.

The kitten is off to her new home now. I told myself I wouldn't get attached, but when she left I cried :(

I just know that now, because of me, she has a chance at a happy healthy life.

Woo, Gamespot's Xenoverse 2 segment told us absolutely nothing new.
I expect IGN's will be exactly the same ***tomorrow too.
Guess it's back to waiting for V-Jump scans for info. ._.;
