Hmm... maybe it's time I give Bravely Default another chance. Stopped just before the Earth Crystal, which if FFV is any indicator, that's when things really heat up. I feel like Seha's avatar is guilting me.

Bravely's da best!
It's possibly the non mmo game I've put the most hours into, maybe even more than FFTA2(which I played to hell and back along with the first); on Second I'm already on 22 hours of playtime and I'm only on chap 1!

I always end up doing this with RPGs, spend way too much time in each chapter/new part trying to find all the things and level up/explore

I think I had something like 250 hours in FF10 and all my FF9 playthroughs end up with red clocks (100+ hours)


Skyrim isn't even fair to use since you can mod it so much it's basically a new game whenever you start it

A lot of it it's grinding, but there's just so many possible class combinations to try out that it's actually very motivating, unlike most games where when you need to grind to beat the next boss you kinda want to die.

I did that in Tactics and TA1-2, Disgaea etc

Just takes so damn long sometimes

I can't tell if I like this or not. The art style is nice but the side scrolling battles put me off. Unsure on the dub too.

I plan to. The JP audio is way better from what I've heard. Just unsure on the game itself. I've only found one review for the JP version. It got a 31 from Famitsu but I don't know if that's good or not. .-.

31/40 sounds like a 6.5-7/10 game, it's probably fun but might wanna wait until it's a bit cheaper
