Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

If I am understanding this right, we need a Yorcia Simulacrum to enter, and this is what we'll be doing? Completing the objective puts Skirmish Armor into the Treasure pool, and Lebondopt Wings gotten from personal coffers can be exchanged for more Skirmish Armor from an NPC? Would we need a group for this event or could we do it with Sparks Gear + Trusts? I know, sorry ._.

You only get them during Aldouin chest events(This is me joking, I just haven't had any drop personally). Those are traded for different gear than what Yorcia drops normally, you get Mellidopt wings that you trade for that, and those wings are pretty common. Josiah has a great video showing how to solo it, if you do that though you really need a 119 weapon before you bother with it and I dunno how WHM does it (I am guessing from your avatar you are WHM). I'd love to see that video. Yeah, I'm a WHM, but my roommate is a THF. Just to simplify things for you, Obsidian Fragments are what you use to buy Puissance for summoning the Kirin/monsters at the start point. Easiest way to get them is to trade Copper Vouchers for 1k each. You can trade in the armor drops you get that you dont need towards more Vouchers at the AMAN people to get some of your investment back. This is the thing I have been working on solo myself so I just got done asking all the questions and have a decent grip on doing it solo... just my gear sucks so I havent gotten far (3-4 floors into a 3/3/3). Pic is slightly spoilerous from first Bravely game

Looks complicated-ish. Go in, summon Kirin, go kill butterflies for Puissance, summon colibris, then go knock out the Stronghold to move to next floor? 5 person fusion. This game is gonna get weird.

Pretty much, the main thing is that you have to get the killshot on the Stronghold, but you dont want to be up there fighting it because any enemy 'valiants' will merc you. Usually just wait until it is at 1 HP and then hit it with magic. I do 1/1/1 a lot and its only 3 areas so 3 pieces of armor max, but the first two stages the Kirin can do all the work, the third area usually I have to get some colibri helping to make it in the time limit. Bismarck.Josiahfk said: » anyone could walk in on any eudaemon sash trig with roe 117 weapons/gear and -convert 1000 obsidian fragments to puissance -summon a shinjin for 1000 puissance -just watch kirin and do nothing until he gets the stronghold down to 1% hp then you walk up and kill it. floor ends you get 3 pieces of gear or if lucky, a wing. and you exit. you can choose to go up to the next floor and keep going but it would take that escalant killing crap and summoning multiple mobs like the video. but anyone can clear that first floor mindlessly and exit/repeat. Only get 1 piece of gear per floor. If you do all three floors on a 1/1/1 you get 3 pieces. I like the little party chat dialogues in Bravely Default
For the moment we are interested in the gear, not the augments. Once we get good and proper caught up, we'll probably go back for the augments.
So each floor cleared = 1 piece of gear? If we don't get the piece we want, we can trade wings to an NPC and choose what we want? Bismarck.Josiahfk said: » the iuitl set is sadly garbage for the most part due to how potent the augments are for the taeon set that replaced it. but yeah a couple gendewitha pieces are worth eventually pursuing for the dedicated mage. -legs for bard precasting with "song casting time -5" augment -hands for precasting with augment -feet for curnsa builds augment regardless So instead of Iuitl you recommend the Taeon set? wings sound good. maybe for dinner.
Bismarck.Josiahfk said: » for all skirmish types 3 wings for weapons and bodys 2 wings for head and legs 1 wing for hands and feet Sounds like it won't take much time at all to get a full set for each of us, depending on wing drops. 9 wings per set of armor. Where is the Taeon set from? BG Wiki pages don't say where they are from or how they are obtained. Thanks for the help, you guys!
