Apparently some European forecasters predicted that our spring winter storm is going to bring about 40 inches of snow this weekend. Locally they're predicting 7 to 14 inches. I hope they're both wrong and it just kind of sleets! Not supposed to be warm enough to stick here. .-. Colorado is so bi-polar.
We had a lot of snow predicted this last weekend as well and when I went outside, just an inch and a half of sheer ice covering the car like I live next to some cold ocean or some crap lol.

Snow is easier driving right? I'd hate to see you stuck with that thick black ice crap
Ice blows!

Driving in the snow isn't too bad. But even here where it snows fairly often, people drive like idiots. More anticipation is needed and all they do is panic and try to slam on their brakes. xD

Looked at the screenshots section, saw the FFXI BLM vs. FFXIV BLM. Had a good laugh, and then an unexpected trip down memory lane lol.

People acting like BLM in XI ever needed to use its whole repertoire of spells. In the earliest days it was, "Are we bursting Light or are we bursting Darkness? Pre-65, Distortion. What spells am I casting? Freeze or Burst, Thunder IV or Blizzard IV." Sleepga II in Dynamis. Am I soloing? Bind, Thunder IV, Sleep II, rest, Blizzard IV, Sleep, Fire IV, Sleep II, rest. etc. etc. etc. The group II merits came out and people fully merited Burst II and Freeze II. What a time that was. I remember I knew this guy who had all the dopest BLM gear at 75 for his time. All HQ staves, all the elemental+ gear, all the dark+ gear, all the enfeebling+ gear, and all the MAB+ gear. He used to post his screenies of solo EXP chains on the buffalos and things at the top of Ulegeurand Range, and I remember thinking he was such a bad *** for doing chain 6 solo and getting like 900exp or whatever lol. He used to solo the time extension statues in certain Dynamises as well.

I remember asking him how he got so skilled, and he was just like, "This isn't skill. I just took the time and money to get the gear and do the macros. I'm just not lazy. This is like the easiest job on the planet."

I'm sorry, but every job is easy when it's explained like that. Not every job used their whole arsenal. Gear helped every job. Timing can take skill, not everyone used outside help. Managing MP can take skill, especially soloing. Knowing what elements to use on what mobs, etc. You don't need that in XIV at all, lol.

So just beat spiderboobs in DS1 and rang the second bell. Afterwards I decided to kill a few of those egg undead for the little amount of souls I needed to level up. Well... 5 minutes later and now I have an egg head.

It's a good thing.
Egg head npc will sell you extra exclusive spells and dialogue if you get egg headed and talk to him.
I almost killed him. He looked like a normal one until I noticed the talk prompt. Wooo another poison mist!
I'm going to go through the rest of the game like this.

I like meeting modest people like that. But I would say there are much easier jobs in ffxi than blm.
Idk, the way I always viewed it(once I was in the know, anyway) was that mage jobs took a greater time investment for gear/spells/etc. but once you got all that you had a greater amount of control during combat(making combat easier). Lots of jobs are simpler, namely all the melee/TP based DD jobs, but they are harder in a sense, since they can't control combat like a mage can.

It halves souls though ;/ That doesn't sound fun. I'm on pee ess 3. Blighttown is suffering. Probably going to go crystal lizard hunting in The Great Hollow tomorrow before moving on to Sen's.

On that note, good night everyone! :)

Oh man, lol. My fiance was discussing strats/gear about a raid or something on Destiny. I reached my foot out to him and just rubbed his knee with my toes and it totally distracted him. Lost his train of thought. Little things like that are adorable. xD

Wishing I had kept my old links, I had a link to a backup site of the original guide that support had sent me awhile back.

Ugh.

edit:
Unfortunately the link is dead...

Either way the brady guided sucked hard.

*** SE.

edit2: found an archive that had all the site data, I've never messed with java so I'm not so sure I can get it working.

I just watched an hilarious bug in ff9. Garnet took the Dagger from Zidane, , it clipped through her arm and then was stabbing her in the chest. then she ran around and it was coming in and out of her chest.
