I guess chicken isnt so wanted in some countries that could be a reason for a KFC failing.
Though, its hard to believe big cities that cant keep a famous franchises. Anything related to food is always easy cash near business centers. I know because the amount of restaurants near my work place is huge. And KFC is often crowded as its food, while being unhealthy, its cheaper than average there.
