Also, it's nearly finally here maybe! Anna Ruthven said: » Rooks, I want you to add a new mod tool called a tropic ban. Basically, it bans you to a secluded beach on a tropical island. You can test it on me. Wow chinese people are so desperate that they buy bottles of air <_<
Hmmmm, think I'll use that Amazon card for myself and get my mom a gift card for Lush instead. Now, which OST or arrangement to pick up next?

Though I'm somewhat hesitant to share that one, as the soundtrack is deeply connected to the game's story, so listening to it without that experience might undermine how amazing it is. Also, I wonder if US gift cards for amazon would work on amazon.co.jp If so, I'd even consider getting this Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness

Tree near our house got struck by lightning last night. The lightning traveled down the tree, through the water soaked ground into my aunt's well house/pump; then continued on through the electrical lines into the pole between our houses.
Blew her breaker box to pieces and came all the way inside our house. Knocked out a coffee maker, two satellite boxes, and thought it got our router (orange'ish red flash as the power went out last night), but it seems to be working fine. Also blew the massive fuse at the power lines near the road and took out three street lights. Transformer survived though. Thankfully, all my other equipment is on surge protectors. Just ran out of slots for the router and it's just the one from the ISP so it's not a super big deal. They are talking about food in PnR...
I guess it's better than the normal trying to kill each other lol Good morning RT! Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness said: » Jetackuu said: » Probably due to the fuse, surprised it didn't arc though. I just looked at the new anima requirements, what the *** SE, why don't you put in content that takes skill and not a mindless grind?
I aspire to one day break the Tenth Seal of Kazegusuri.
On the way home today in the train I was sitting in a so-called 'stilte coupé; at least that's what we call it here in the Netherlands.
Literal translation would be 'quiet wagon', but I'm sure that's incorrect :p Basically a part of the train in which everyone remains quiet. No loud music, no talking (on the phone) etc Anyway, I was just reading a book when I hear the conductor coming in to check tickets. About halfway some guy stands up and taps the conductor on the shoulder asking: "excuse me, sir, but could you please be quiet?". The conductor asks the man to follow him to the next wagon (or actually about half a wagon further than that or so). I can only imagine what they were discussing there. I mean... sure: there was noise, but the conductor was doing his job! What's next? Conductors having to check tickets using only sign language? Or wait no.. even better! Flag signals! Never a dull moment when I travel it seems~ Phoenix.Gameesh said: » On the way home today in the train I was sitting in a so-called 'stilte coupé; at least that's what we call it here in the Netherlands. Never a dull moment when I travel it seems~ When I first heard it I thought they meant panic rooms like for terrorists or something, but nope they meant they want to slack off on the job and not be judged and still be paid. In related news: there was a rather complicated announcement over the intercom at the station today.
Something about a train not traveling to certain stations, being delayed etc etc. After the announcement there was like a 5 second silence. Then the intercom starts again and all the guy says is: "sorry, that last statement wasn't meant for this station. Please ignore it." Sounds like someone going afk after paying a level 99 to kill stuff for them in Abyssea and getting crazy experience. Kinda the other way around. Getting paid to afk while some one else levels you.
Ackeron said: » Kinda the other way around. Getting paid to afk while some one else levels you. Eh... that's what I meant didn't I? Level 30 pays a level 99. Level 30 goes afk. Level 99 kills stuff for a few hours. Level 30 becomes level 99 themselves. Wait wait never mind. I misread. Sorry! Ordered some air testing equipment for my students, the email confirmation says
