My brain thought it'd be a good idea to write this 10 page paper the day before it's due.

But it's Shakespeare! And on my two favorite plays... this stuff needs thought! Also this teacher is a hard ***, and I am still dreaming that I will get an A in the class.

Or a counterclaim about Drac's obsession with bears.

The Tempest and Hamlet. I am um... *alt tabs* 6 pages into it. Basically comparing the similarities and connections between them, especially between Hamlet and Prospero, and how they both build up on their tragic elements, but Tempest ends due to Prospero's ability to forgive etc.

Sort of interesting point on it is that Prospero (who is considered by many to represent Shakespeare) has had 12 years to brood over what happened and forgives eventually so he does not repeat past mistakes. Hamlet was written 12 years before Tempest, perhaps inspired by Shakespeare's grief of his lost son, and ended... not so good. So that time gap MIGHT have been put in there purposely by Shakespeare, but it's a fun little bit to work with.

^In a nutshell... yea it for some reason has become more difficult than I thought to actually hit 10 pages on this.

You're on your own, unfortunately. I know Hamlet like the back of my hand, but I haven't read The Tempest.

edit: Although, it looks like you're taking it down the didactic route. I will say that you could spend some time making the argument that perhaps Shakespeare wrote for the sake of art and not because of the events in his own life. It's still sketchy about who he really was and though there is evidence of poor Hamnet, the actual information about Shakespeare's life is so sparse that we could come up with any reason behind the things he's written.

It's true, Q-tips can seriously *** up your ears.

WHAT?

My buddy once had to go through surgery to have a wad of impacted earwax removed from his canal because he kept using the Q-tip to push the wax further into his canal.

That's why I use a wet washcloth and clean out my ears in the shower. Does it get all the way into the canal? No, but it does clean out the entrance to the ears and I don't have any issues.

People used to believe urinating in someone's ear would cure an ear infection a long time ago.

Now it's just my fetish.
