So having gotten close to where I was before I can say ESP doesn't seem to have gotten any better after launch for starting a new character. It's slow and annoying.

Back in the days of Shakespeare, they used to write down what was going to happen in the play and hand them out to people before they saw it. We, on the other hand *** and complain if someone tells us the ending of a book before we read it. Like really, by knowing that bit of knowledge, does that make the book less interesting to read? I say nay, but most Americans agree that they prefer being left in the dark. Hell, if the government does it to us, why not our movie trailers?

That moment when you notice you have almost 2000 videos uploaded on youtube, but 'only' 1,300 subscribers.
I'm ok with it; I record stuff for fun anyway. I turned down a monatizing offer from Youtube I got a year ago or so.
It's just me playing video games and making (sometimes witty) commentary about it. I don't want to earn money with that. I'd feel like a jerk.
Plus, if I accept it would mean some kind of pressure since you need to publish a certain amount of videos each month. And the quality has to be good enough too.
No thanks Youtube; I'd rather not be judged by whatever jury you have.

Phew, I'm about 80% done with Christmas shopping.
Still need a tree, skirt, reservoir, lights, and a few more gifts to finish up on, then it's all over and I can focus on having a good time for myself in Chicago~

Wish I could give more, but things are really tight this month with my trip and still fitting in presents for everyone in RL. Especially after my folks needed to loan $700 from me :/
