It's so different from the typical MS builds; it's a nice change.

Gotta say I grew up loving the hell out of the Gundam designs and now I'm really starting to fall in love with the other designs far more. ._.
I've always enjoyed the grunt designs just as much as the Gundams, right from when I first saw Wing on Toonami. Dem OZ suits.

GMs, Leos, Taurus, I even think the Ball is pretty cool. Not that I don't love Gundams but a lot of the times their designs seem just too over the top, this has been nicely scaled back in the last few years as they try to go for a more realistic look however.

Also one of my favorites was 08th MS Team which had "gundams" but they were mass produced and looked more like a normal suit.

oh, I'm sorry. Is she okay?
shes home now, but she had congestive heart failure early nov. was in the hospital for bout 2 weeks or so, then last wed morning she had to go back in unable to breath, had a problem whit her kidneys

08th MS is still probably my favorite series. I think the whole Gundam love thing for me was just the old "omg they're the hero or their the strongest! Obviously my favorite!"

Over the top can work when done well though.

Over the top can work when done well though.

I'm not saying it can't. If it is over the top I prefer it to be in more light hearted series like Build Fighters where it was just a gigantic ball of crazy custom gundams doing crazy things. G Gundam too, I wouldn't call it light hearted but that show took silly and made it good.
