I'm assuming it was some kinda internet thing? Because if it wasn't then it's all the more "what the ***? how do you not know if she's dead or alive and why wouldn't you be there?"

One thing that bothers me,I got be a defect on mine, is that some minor movements on the frame or speakers would alter the glow and audio on the external speakers.
Have yet to test the mic.

Considering that the PS4 cannot read CDs at all, PS2 discs have special mechanisms for authenticity checking embedded on the media (making the PS4 drive capable of dealing with that would cost extra money) and when the PS4 released they were very serious about PS2 not working on the PS4 I'd say it's safe to assume any form of PS2 games being made playable on PS4 will be download only.
