Managed to extract the texture files for both Escha zones. If I can track down the normal Zi'tah and Ru'Aun texture dats, I can easily use those to finally give Escha the Pleasantville treatment.

A real life friend I met awhile back just happened to have a few and it got me back into it a little bit.
The look on my face was funny though... I was like JESUS GOD... THEY ARE SO MUCH COOLER NOW. I felt like a 14 year old all over again lol.

Like, buy the Red Frame Flight Unit, order 3 Caledvwlch online, and make the Astray Red Dragon.

I think the only other situation I liked alternative style mechs (where there was actually variety) was the Armored Core series. I used to freaking love it. Mixing leg and body types, different arms and heads.
Was amazing. So much lost potential when they didn't continue it correctly.

Gundam Breaker is great for that kind of customization too, though it's a little simpler.
Really hope they're going to do a third game. It could be sooo good with a little more variety in the available kits and missions. Adding some of the equipment sets that are sold seperate from mobile suit kits would be nice too.

I'm in the same boat, I won't be reactivating until probably December. And if one of these MP shooters ends up being really good, I don't know when I will see 14 again. On the positive side, it takes 6 months for an update, so plenty of time.
