Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Well are they right? Do you hate your job?
I do hate my job, but I have car payments to make and there is not a big job market here.
The new Belfast map looks like it's gonna be good for my event Aqua GM and Z'gok...
Could be fun for my snipers too. ![]()
I can often times hate humanity or certain conditions of a job but it doesn't necessarily mean I hate a job.
I hated working nights, but I loved working the grocery store, same goes for the merchandiser job I just had, I hated the 60+hour weeks but I didn't hate what I was doing. I made things work and I was constantly praised wherever I went. I may not like compliments but I do enjoy knowing I'm doing something right in someone's eyes and making their life easier. I'm not sure what the effects of quitting vs being fired are as far as collecting unemployment.
working on phones really suck, especially nice you go on someone's radar, they can just screen the calls till they find ***they dont like and bring it up.
*yawns shamelessly*
omg rocket league ~ the music is awesome

Well, that is one way to look at it. Kudos for your positive outlook. I'm just willing to admit I had things pretty good and could be even better if I just stuck to them. If I had stayed with that night job I could be making $16+/hr right now and be management. But times just wasn't something I wanted to deal with. Lol Same goes for almost every other job I have done. Edit: that all said I'm still glad I left as I'm now finally looking at doing something I would enjoy doing for a long time and the best part is it not only includes traveling but also cosplaying. Grumpy Cat said: » Just got the "We think you should quit" meeting at work. Really motivates you the rest of the day I tell you what. If they're asking you to quit, it's either because they're trying to be graceful and give you the opportunity to leave without tarnishing your work record, or more likely, because they don't have grounds to fire you. You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but do they have any written correctives against you, anything documented that states you haven't been performing your job to their expectations? A while back I got talked to about calling in sick too often. I corrected that issue though and this is entirely unrelated. Oddly enough I'm not the most cynical person I work with, interesting change of pace. Well, if you're an actual employee of the company (not a temp or seasonal employee); if you're meeting the written requirements of your job; and they don't have any (relevant) documented complaints against you, they don't have grounds to fire you, especially if you're willing to remedy whatever "issues" they have with your performance. If however they continue to pressure you to quit or continue to make your working experience miserable, cite the words "Hostile Work Environment". If they understand employment law as well as they should, that should make them think twice. It essentially means that they have created an uncomfortable work environment, and if you leave the company because of it, you have grounds to sue them. |
