It's made from/with gelatin which is made from bone.
yeah it is. A popular replacement is pressed algae or dried seaweed, to make jello without using gelatin if someone want's Vegetarian Jello.
Never seen it in stores before so I'm not talking about that variation.

so people in America confuse potato soup with cream of potato soup?
No, no cream, just potatoes, onions, salt, pepper, and butter boiled in milk. I use water instead of milk.

Bread and Butter are the only ones I make that have any sugar in them, and I go easy on the sugar because I like the tartness to remain.

The inner part of a Watermelon rind (with the outer green part/inner red parts removed) can be used the same way you would us cucumber in other recipes. No one ever notices that the relish is watermelon rind and not cucumber lol. Ever since I got a pressure canner I've been going nuts with this stuff...
