omg im gonna have an orgasm over my internet.... was messing up really bad, they said i needed a new modem cause they "changed something" which made no sense that it worked so well for 5 years but now it wont. Anyways got a new one, but wife bumped us up to 75MBS and i can seriuously tell just from loading pages on here already! heres to better ffxi'ing and dying faster!

Tried giving FFX-2 another chance after it came with the Remastered set on PS4. I then realized it was mostly the game's horribly soundtrack that was putting me off to begin with and could not play for more than 20 minutes.
Today, I played ffxiii for the first time in a couple years. 20 minutes in, decided to just watch Netflix. The reason why I stopped playing it was seemingly forgotten and rushed back to me fairly quick. Can't stand the battle mechanics.

I did the same thing, couldn't even get out of the first act, I had forgotten how truly awful that games soundtrack was.

Lol, FFX-2. I think I played that for about as long as I gave FFXII a shot. About 20min.
After that I played FFXI and sold my PS2 and all the games, and really haven't looked back at console gaming since.
Although I did have a PSP for awhile, but that was for travel reasons. Mostly used it for NES and SNES emulation and to play original versions (meaning no silly DS graphics) of Chrono Cross, FF4 and 6. Had 4 The After Years, but I didn't have time to play it much, which is a shame cause now I have all the time to play it.
Gave away my PSP to my brother though when I briefly came back to the U.S.

You should give ffxii a chance. The gambit system really is something to play with once you get the items for it. I would absolutely LOVE this system introduced into ffxi for the trusts but it's never going to happen.
...although, the game is kinda slow from the start... Kinda horrible and off-putting.

Too bad they haven't made 12 for Steam. I would definitely give a try if they did that.
