Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I played a game on PSP where if you had a 9 character name with exactly 4 vowels you got max starting stats. I found it out completely randomly too because I picked the name Cornelius after watching Fight Club.

I aways suspected that FFXI had something like that because some people are suspiciously way too lucky with drops and lots. (lol)

So hit Lv20 in Destiny .... now what? How do I farm good gear fast and how can I get exp fast to unlock my skills?

Overall the story was pathetic. It had no real resolution at all.

Gameplay wise, it's a shooter with extremely limited talent trees. I don't think it really matters what class you pick either. Everyone I saw was shooting and punching.

Dungeons give it some uniqueness but then it's Lv20 selection is just scaled up versions of all the dungeons pre-20. There are no Lv20 dungeons in vanilla Destiny least I have yet to unlock any if there are .... and whomever 'balanced' the Summoning Pits final boss should be shot.

Your characters have a special ability that is unique to the subclass you play. I have no idea how the charging of it works. Some times it fills up instantly some times it takes FOREVER. Seems everything aside from shooting and normal punches has an incredibly long cooldown. The stat points you get are supposed to lower the CDs but I have yet to notice any difference.

TL;DR
After a day with Destiny and now hitting Lv20 my early experience with it points to worth the 28 bucks I paid but not proving to be worth an additional 35 for the Expansion Packs. Gonna see about getting more gear and crap before I decide on getting the exp packs or not maybe it will get better. Now I just need to figure out how to get better gear ...

Don't, that's how infectious and otherwise preventable diseases spread and make you sick or even kill you.
