Anything regarding touching eyes scares me deeply. I could never be able to even use contacts, let alone install anything into my eyes. I'll keep my human vision.

So is it self-install or surgical? I once screwed up an Ikea chair, not sure I want to risk it.

Too bad they need that Inelligence +10 now, rather than later.

While we're at it, may as well find something that gives people "Common Sense +100" and "Wisdom +90"

Single typo!

Also, I do need glasses. Eventually.

Far and few between. You've been more sporadic with typos than I have been.

But that said, you post more than I do as well.

However, the issue was with a *single* typo in a *single* post.

Argument is moot, and the bear needs a new brain after being hit by so many shovels.

I wouldn't do it to have superhuman vision that's just a nice teaser. However for people that have to have cataract surgery anyway, or just have terrible vision it's a definite advancement. Article states 8 minute surgery, and it's permanent it replaces your lens.
I can see aging sport shooters investing in them. >.>

My sister could use it in both eyes, and my left eye could use it, and as it barely functions anyway, why not? If they *** up I just lose my peripheral, and some depth perception.

I wonder if there's any long-term issues from it though.

You could become the captain of the Planet Express Delivery space ship as a long term issue.
