Right to refuse service at our discretion. The no locals thing was decided by the owner.
In the beginning we allowed it, but it ended up being that a large majority of the time anyone that was a local that stayed ended up trashing the room, smoking in it, etc. So they ruined it for even the decent ones.

It sounds rather sketchy, and could land in hot water. I'm not familiar with your locality or state, but whatevs. I see the reason though.

I don't know the exact specifics of it as far as the actual laws go. But we provide a service and that service can be refused just like any other. I think it falls in line with how restaurants can refuse service.

Some (not sure if all) prohibit discrimination based on National origin, now I know that a city isn't a nation, however if say somebody barred people from Paris, but not the rest of France, they would probably still be in hot water. Idk, idc, and while I do understand the reason, I don't agree with it, then again I don't like any group discrimination.
