Got a question, when people are playing FFXI, are you guys playing mouse/keyboard or controller/keyboard on PC?
I was thinking a decent gamepad would be playable. I would feel too odd with a mouse playing the game.
Keyboard onry.

Watching the Inter match, Seha?
I hope Inter wins. I want them to have a shot at the Champion's League next year at least.

But Inter can't get into Champions, right now struggling to gain access to Europe League, even that might not happen. This year sucked.

Quote: Our 14-year-old dog Abbey died last month. The day after she passed away my 4-year-old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so, and she dictated these words:
Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog
even though she got sick. I hope you will play with her. She likes to swim and
play with balls. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her you will
know that she is my dog. I really miss her.
Love, Meredith
We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith
pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would
take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if
God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had.
Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, 'To Meredith' in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside
was a book by Mr. Rogers called, 'When a Pet Dies.' Taped to the inside
front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope.
On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:
Dear Meredith,
Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help and I
recognized her right away. Abbey isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with
me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we
don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep your
picture in so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep
and have something to remember Abbey by.
Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you
write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have.
I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and
remember that I love you very much. By the way, I'm easy to find.
I am wherever there is love.
Love, God

Who gets to participate in the Champion's? Top 3? First two get direct access, third goes to playoff. We lost the fourth spot some years ago.

In the English Premiership the top 4 get into the Champions league and 5th place enters into the Europa League. Doesn't matter though, English clubs suck at European games.

I didn't like it tbh, the graphics, low gravity, horribly execution of the overhyped laser weaponry, and don't get me started on the soundtrack and that one girl Janey Springs. I'd rather have gotten Scooter on the moon than have her in the game to begin with. I hated a lot of stuff in pre-sequel, but graphics didn't stick in particularly.
ps. eos can suck my balls. less shield health, plz?

I was thinking a decent gamepad would be playable. I would feel too odd with a mouse playing the game. gamepad+keyboard, the mouse is horrible.
Get yourself a nice direct input gamepad for simplicity sake, Logitech F310/710 (poor build quality really), PS2 (needs adapter, but works great), I'm also told the PS4 controller is direct input, haven't tested it myself as I don't have one.

Who still uses XP on their own PC lol
I still do and it runs great lol
I still have some old hardware I can't part with (work stuff) which would be too expensive to replace so I kept using XP. Virtual machines, direct the serial input to the VM and get an updated OS, I know your aversion to VMs, but really they work great, and help clear up the clutter (more efficient too).
I guess the real trick anymore is having enough RS-232 ports available, or in some cases, any.

<(O.o)> Because none, NONE of my PCs have windows on them. So with limitations with Wine and Linux or Macs, I may have to get a non-OEM version of Windows. I did have Win 7 but I killed that harddrive and all it's partitions.
be prepared for a PM, also XI does work in Wine, was having issues getting a controller to work, but you'd get it no issue.

I hated that ***. But the Bomber before you go into the vault area was my bane until I got a corrosive weapon worth half a damn.

Try to make Endless Eight a game, it makes it bearable.
You know, I never really cared too much for Haruhi, I more watched because of Yuki. I find her to be a cute character.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
