Not always, but it probably helps. At the very least, you will have fewer people complaining or have people less likely to moan about image spam to begin with.

I like 8 but it did get kinda 'what the ***, did you guys even think this through?' after disc 2 or so

XII is fun because of all the stuff you can do in it and SO3 has a fun battle system

Never completed XII and only beaten VIII once (12 or so years ago), SO3 I've only played through once, but never through its end-game (to Freya)
