Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

See how that goes. The one I bought years ago to fiddle with and never really did anything with it, the other I bought more recently and it's just a composite to usb to capture old camcorder stuff. I forget which my friend recently got, but it's apparently one of the few that will do high framerates of 1080P from an external device. oh cool. I actually find it very weird that the tech for TV cards or Capture cards has not really developed, or that this tech hasn't been commercially been made. yeah sure monitors can support extra stuff now, but it be nice if the feed could be passed to a pc, or if streaming software wasn't as big, bulky and limiting (add a hide buttons button?) Just do what Dateline does.
Invent another day and call it Katilsday. if anyone wants to see my first pic let me know :x
think leon did an amazing job <,<v need for capture cards is slowly being phased out. i suspect that by the time Pascal chips launch, a GPU will have more onboard encoding power without having to take any resources from the system than a capture card does. it's already pretty close

Oh, i'm not talking about actual doctors being, ya know, doctors. I mean people who've never dealt with an injury greater than a *** sliver or pin ***.
"Oh, have you tried doing this?" "Yes." "Don't get mad, but have you tried... i dunno, exercising" "As a part of my rehab, yes." "I said don't get mad" "Don't treat me like a *** idiot then." And i've already explained multiple times to them i've been living with permanent nerve damage in my lower back and leg for 10 years, etc. Valefor.Prothescar said: » need for capture cards is slowly being phased out. i suspect that by the time Pascal chips launch, a GPU will have more onboard encoding power without having to take any resources from the system than a capture card does. it's already pretty close Ohji Lunartail said: » still say ya did a amazing job on em leon Valefor.Prothescar said: » need for capture cards is slowly being phased out. i suspect that by the time Pascal chips launch, a GPU will have more onboard encoding power without having to take any resources from the system than a capture card does. it's already pretty close basically just need a line in for whatever, the computer can kinda do what it needs to anyway, just a matter of getting the signal. I think this is what my friend uses, he's being a douche and won't respond: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0TP-0072-00001 Kalila said: » Valefor.Prothescar said: » need for capture cards is slowly being phased out. i suspect that by the time Pascal chips launch, a GPU will have more onboard encoding power without having to take any resources from the system than a capture card does. it's already pretty close PS4 doesn't have the same level of h.264 encoder that a kepler/maxwell GPU has. It's only going to get stronger too; right now, Shadowplay records at a nearly lossless quality while draining an imperceptible amount of system resources. File size is ridiculously small as well, so the encoder is pretty efficient. also ally, PM me C: Bloodrose said: » Oh, i'm not talking about actual doctors being, ya know, doctors. It's the older white one, but got that one because with the stand, I know it's Gamecube and controller compatible. The reason it was so cheap was because it was only the system console, the connection wires, ac plug, motion bar and one set of nunchucks. Really, I only needed the system and wires for power and AV. Softmod that sonnabitch and throw a hard drive on it, need some titles, I can sftp them over to ya. .-.

'3' Dr Misa has a thing for you too. -hands over a Mandragora Plush- hug it 3 times a day for a month. make appointment in a month on a wed. avnt tried to do any captureing on my laptop, pretty sure it cant handle it since my restore on it last year, ; ;
least my ps4 can do some stuff.. It's also worth noting that the PS4's compression is extremely likely to be tuned toward minimizing network stress and minimizing memory/cpu usage since the system itself is relatively weak. Would cause lower quality footage as a result
