Neither, take the parachute yourself and have more kids right away.

Slip! lol
Ok, since we got on the twins subject. Are you guys the type that if you have twins, you give them names starting with the same letter? Like Timothy and Thomas? Or do you name them separate of each other?
I don't know, it drives me nuts when people name them the same. It makes them seem like a single entity when they are two unique individuals.
But on the other hand, a ton of my favorite names start with R. Renanan, Rahziela, Rohan, Roman. I can't NOT name the names that I like just because they start with the same letter. >.> (Not that it matters, I have no plans for children at all at the moment, much less twins.) My ex had identical twin brothers who were named Jim and Joe, and since most people couldn't tell them apart they would just call them Jimjoe most of the time.. lol
To make it worse my ex's name is John and my name is Julia ~.~

ok how about this one:
you have to live through the pain of death. each day resets itself, and you have to pick one method of dying to relive each and every day, for a year. burning or drowning?
ETA: all wounds heal when the day resets, and you never develop a tolerance for the pain

I agree with Slip in part on the WWII one. Offer myself instead. If they don't accept, though, I wouldn't fight because that could get both kids killed. I may choose the older one, because they've had a longer chance to live. Or maybe the younger one, because they wouldn't know as much what they were missing in life by dying. Or... I may fight after all, because if I did have children I would love them too much to send them to their deaths.

You and eight other people are kidnapped and placed on a cruise liner that's set to sink in 9 hours. Each of you have a bracelet on your wrist that has a number on it, 1-9. These bracelets are a detonator used to explode the bomb that's placed in your stomach. If you try to force the bracelet off, you explode and die. The only way to get the bracelets off is if your heart-rate reaches zero (the bracelet is still useable by other people). or win the game. The main purpose of these bracelets is to activate numbered doors (1-9). Once you enter a door, everyone has to enter and confirm that they're inside quickly otherwise you all die. To win the game, you must find and enter the door labeled 9.
3-5 people can enter any given door, and to enter the doors your bracelets need to total the number that's on the door. The way you get the total is to add the numbers up and find their 'digital root'. Say the bracelets add up to 14, you'd take 14, split it into 1 and 4, add those together, which is 5, so the bracelet's 'digital root' is 5.
Anyway, you know eventually there's only going to be one 9 door, and only 5 people max can exit the game. Would you try to kill people early on (possibly take their bracelets and use it for your own purposes), would you wait as long as possible to kill them (around when you find the last door), or would you wait and see what happened?
i'd wait until the very last moment in front of the final door and take off the watch purposely, killing errbudy
except me since i'd use an instant reraise scroll right before doing so
you people better hope i don't end up on a season of big brother, because rest assured it'd be big brother: dragonforce mode

Drowning. I can't imagine it would hurt as much as burning. And I've always been afraid of burning, ever since I saw that damn movie Silent Hill.

Hold your breath for a long period of time, it hurts, like hell. I haven't been burned alive, nor have I drowned to death, but I have been severely burned, and I once dived down way too far into a pool and barely made it up before I passed out, they both hurt about as equally, it's just a different pain..

Gusgen mines by the Tele-Dem spire. I hate that zone because of that wailing that sounds exactly like Silent Hill. *Nightmares incoming*

Pure evil, Slip! That siren sounds like pure evil. Then it would suck for you to live back in the 40's and 50's.. There were constant air raid drills in schools and ***.. Lol.. you'd of had to listen to that every couple of weeks.
Evil is those damn high pitched new fire alarms and that like pierce your ear drums. I hate those, I have sensitive ears.
LOL I keep playing the siren without my wife noticing.. She's getting angry at me.. Anyways, bed time.

Air raid sirens are a horrible thing to hear in real life.
The daunting sense of looming inevitable doom is not a very nice feeling, even if it's only a drill.
I remember my dad having an condo near a former WW2 base on Lake Washington in Seattle, and for just once I heard them use the sirens and my heart absolutely sank, even though my mind knew nothing bad was happening.

Bolded for truth.. I used to hear them weekly in Korea... Its pretty bad, and I would jump a lot, even though it was such a common thing, because its just that haunting.

Sirens creep me out too Arte. :/ I started school in Michigan and we had tornado drills, I hated the sirens for them. I was so happy when I realized there were no tornado drills in NM when we moved there. They just bring such a feeling of dread. Thank god I've never heard an air raid siren.

It's difficult to explain, but to put it in an understated light layman's terms: Your body and mind go into total vulnerability to the whole "We're totally ***" state of being.
Not to mention you're completely helpless to the fact of whatever it was that is on horizon to bring about your fate.
This probably explains why Gusgen Mines made me feel so uneasy.
And it wasn't the silly colored polygon ghosts that suddenly pop up in your face.

<_< I'm surrounded by the largest refineries in the US, we hear alarms going off weekly, I never put much thought into it. The alarms don't scare me, what scares me is it would be a very high priority target for terrorists.. But there wouldn't be an alarm for that, it would just happen..

I got a fisher's torque earlier. Is it any good or worth keeping around?
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
