When I was just starting to learn how to read, Calvin and Hobbes was my go-to book to pick up most of the time. A lot of the material I couldn't understand, even with the help of my dad reading some things to me, but I loved the idea of a lil boy playing with his stuffed tiger. Still do, it's such an innocent and cute idea.
So many great memories reading them... and for some reason I'm not a huge fan of comic books, at all really. I'm not sure why that is, did I not see Calvin and Hobbes as a comic? I probably just liked it because it was something my dad liked and we could bond together over, and rereading them every now and then reminds me of him.
