Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
when people say "sup" or "what's up" to me, I usually go off in a long list of things that are literally up.
The sky, Taxes, gas prices, my blood pressure, cholesterol level, a chickens *** when it eats, etc. They either laugh, or have the most disgusted/confused look on their face. In my dialect we say wé.

Yeah when people say hello you can tell they're totally lying.
Bismarck.Zenim said: » I usually avoid those greetings and say how was the morning or how's today going etc Since its usually just insincere anyway and not worth saying That's the opposite of sincere...greeting someone is just good manners, asking them how they're doing is hypocritical if you don't care. I say hello to the people that live in my block, but talk further to no one.
Learn to speak Canadian in 1 simple step:
When someone says "Hello", you reply with "Yes, I'll have a beer". When saying "Hello", it's really pronounced "Would you like a beer?" I'm glad if they don't desire to, but always listen intently and affirm or offer feedback if they do; Gotta keep the people stuck in your life happy etc I'm just non social lol I always say "Good morning", "Good afternoon" or "Good evening" when I'm addressing a person.
If it's family or friends, I generally say "Sup" or something similar. Bloodrose said: » Learn to speak Canadian in 1 simple step: When someone says "Hello", you reply with "Yes, I'll have a beer". Only way my family knows if I'm alive is when they call me. Bloodrose said: » Learn to speak Canadian in 1 simple step: When someone says "Hello", you reply with "Yes, I'll have a beer".
