Honestly I think the original DB story was much better, it just didn't have the super battles of Z. But it was a completely different mood and much more interesting under that point of view.
The Tenkaichi tournaments are easily some of the best anime moments ever.
I much prefer the fights in DB to those in Z. The choreography was so much better, and people actually improved their fighting styles instead of just transforming so they could throw more punches faster. Probably why I like the DBO opening so much; all the flashy ki moves and Super Saiyan but with more DB-style action.
Also, while I'm talking Dragonball; even more hyped for Xenoverse after seeing some of the moves they've packed in; that one where Goku uses the Kamehameha to launch himself at Tien is even in.

nice!
Piccolo's "jump in front of Gohan because he doesn't dodge" move is in too. From what I've seen, I think it teleports you in front of your target (so they're attacking you instead) and acts like normal guard.

I mean, with his fake SSJ Turles video he said it was a joke edit, and he's not saying this is a joke so...
I'm so gonna use it for my Frieza-clan character.

"Justice is super-good!"
"Welcome to the gun show!"
"Cat loves food....yeahyeah yeah yeahhh~"
"Don't have a cow!"
"Creamer of the dairy squad!"
"Space Australia!"
"Oh god, bad idea..."
The Freya and Sir Fratley reunion scene in FFIX left more of a mark/impact on me than any other moment in FF history, including Aeris' death in FFVII. Easily the most memorable story moment of the game.

Just...wow. Imagine how Freya must have felt. Imagine how you would feel if you were in her place. Must be heartbreaking.

Hmm, maybe I should do my FF marathon in reverse order, since I can't seem to focus on doing it 1+, gonna start with X though, since I've already been playing it, and I'll do XII last as I never got around to playing it.
I quite enjoyed XIII, XIII-2, and Lightning Returns. Though understandably their all "love it or hate it" titles.
The games were "meh" but I liked the plot. Apparently a lot of people don't appreciate the plot on these games.
A lot of criticism on what is a "fantasy tale". heh
!
People still *** about 8, even though it's one of the more interesting stories, although weird.
I really like 8 but the story went kinda whatthefuck around disc 3
Not really, I mean if you weren't really paying attention, sure. But it makes sense if you're following along.
But those Laguna dream sequences, yo!
edit: I did like the concept of the mercenary force, and kinda wish they hadn't strayed so far from that concept, and would be even more interesting if applied differently.
I remember when I first played FF8, it was my first ff...and it was in japanese cause I bought pirated it before it came out in EU. I had no idea what I was doing but managed up to disc 3 before I got the italian version.
When I first went in a Laguna dream I thought I somehow skipped some chapters cause I had nfc what was going on lol. WHO ARE THESE GUYS NOW WHY AM I MOVING THEM..poor me I was only 8 years old or so.
Hardest part of the game was the Timber train assault...the explanation was in japanese so I had no idea how to insert the code lol.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
