Id say you'd have to be looking at 5 hours atleast or across a country border you might get away with it at 3
Well, maybe it's a longer-distance-relationship. Meaning longer than it was previously. She was 5 miles away, now she's 70. That's something to me.

Sorry Sandy. I'd have to say if it's less than a movie sitting it's not LDR (at least to me).

I always associated it with the distance becoming detrimental to future "plans" and thus stifling the natural progression of things. "If we move in together I'll never see my family", or "My career is my life and I can't handle a 6 hour commute every day" etc.

An hour is my commute to work on an average day (sometimes more) so I'm probably a bit biased on 1 hour not being ldr

I like to take my time in the morning. I "have" to be in by 7:30 but I'm usually up by 6:30 and it takes me about 10 minutes to get to work. I don't really like getting up but rushing budges against my comfort zone.

I realize an hour's not that bad. Just sort of a shock, at first. You're used to seeing someone every day and on every whim, and now you can't.

I'll get used to it. Planning on coming back to FFXI because of it. Need something to fill up the days.

I usually get about 6 hours of sleep and I wake up about 12 minutes before I need to be at work. It makes mornings for interesting.
I usually pass out around 11ish.
