Does it make me old that I can actually remember the local corner store selling that for 25 cents?

You guys and your obsession with lawns *doesn't have a lawn*

What is this "lawn" you speak of? In my neighborhood, there is actually a house with a nice, neat, green lawn, and well taken care of.
The houses on either side, are brown as ***. There's one guy on my street with astro turf. Guy finally gave up on lawn care altogether
My lawn isn't exactly all that great to be honest. Too many gopher holes in it at the moment.

Now that I'm 28, and have a permanent back problem, with a bitterly jaded outlook on life that continually borders on depression, anxiety, and "not being with 'it'", whatever 'it' happens to be now, I'm convinced I'm getting old in my young age. Well, considering my physician previously told me that the diabetes I *don't* have had taken decades off of my life, and that even if I did everything perfectly, I would not get them back.
The average lifespan of a healthy male is between 75 and 80 years old, which would, according to him, put my life expectancy at 50-60 years, average of about 55-56, I'm already at the "mid life" part of my crisis -.- Bloodrose said: » Well, considering my physician previously told me that the diabetes I *don't* have had taken decades off of my life, and that even if I did everything perfectly, I would not get them back. Additionally, they concluded that my physician, didn't even have the right form of diabetes for my age or the type of development. I mean, I have plenty of health problems as it is, and the weight of the diabetes bomb my physician gave me threw me for a loop. The symptoms I displayed, however, were very similar to that of Fibro Myalgia, and the only thing remotely close in similarity to Diabetes was dehydration. But it wasn't mild. It was severe enough to cause a hospital visit and an overnight stay. I'd much rather have a garden in my *yard*, than a lawn I couldn't take care of.
I think I just need good reasons to believe in humanity again.
but for now, I think i'll just go lay down Don't b sad
