I actually would love a sub option to just have both games for a flat (cheaper) fee, I mean let's face it ... xi is somewhat showing it's age a bit... but I would play it again if I could have both, I have quite a few friends that are either not on the xiv wagon yet... or on different xiv servers... but play xi still.

I was still play FFXI even after I played FFXIV but my PS2 was crapping out and the game was so unstable on the PS2. If the game was running fine, I probably wouldn't of given FFXIV a second look.
But saying that, I was happy when I came back to FFXIV for awhile just to see all the new stuff they added. But deep down with job systems, I like FFXI more.
I have a feeling that if I wasn't so behind in XI, I might still enjoy it a little bit ... but I never could get the help I needed to attain the few goals I had (alot of people say 'solo this' 'solo that' ) but I just couldn't get it down in xi... be it because of my cruddy internet causing hiccups that caused death... or I just couldn't grasp the right tactics.
All that console peasant goodness, it's delicious!

Between FFXIV and FFXI, I am actually thinking of returning to FFXI. They really should of given a package price deal where the difference would of been small but that way people can jump between games.

11 HD remake would cost a fortune, they're never gonna do that lol

not that hard since the ps4 can emulate ps2 and ps3 easy through the PSnow ***, so a DDL of the game whould be easy, even if they just port over the xbox version wich whould be easyer to do, since less upgrades needed
edit: and drac has a point, the cost whould be the door stop to that, so unless a 3rd party got the go ahead SE whouldnt themselves dispite XI being the most profitable FF game in the series

i just want a new tactics for the vita/3DS
Story is pretty garbage but the world felt alive and vast, greatly enjoyed that

i whould like to see them do a tactics in a new world other than ivalice.. like build itself a new lore and history to build the game and future ones on like they did with Ivalice
