You can dodge everything in Dark Souls though, you can't dodge everything in XI. It's very different.
XI is just managing how well you can take a hit. With ilvl gear. With capped pdt/mdt.
The gameplay is clunky and not very responsive, and most certainly I don't play games to have my patience tested.
Neither. Soloing to 75 is not the same thing as being prepared for the level 65+ content in proper high end solo gear.

No, DRK wasn't started until after abyssea came about.

Nope, All characters of mine have been Bismarck only
I talked about it for hours yesterday with Scar. Apparently I don't define skill by the same standard as you people.
Would you mind explaining what you mean then? Because it sounded like "you hit these buttons and you win if you remember a few moves the boss does" and it's not really that simple
I'd rather just be considered wrong than to go over that argument again. And I've been talked about it to death, I still disagree on that being skillful.

I don't know, but can't think of any that I've played that does. I know everyone says Dark Souls does, but as I couldn't stand it I can't pronounce myself on the matter.

I would say Tetris requires planning and luck.
Planning *is* a skill, and you need to raise your luck parameters.
You can't even solo bosses on here :/ unless they are from treasure maps, so nothing is that difficult unless you go into a fight blind and don't have amazing gear, it can be difficult and you may fail a lot but you will eventually get it down... maybe :|

Majority of fights are 4-8 man so it's a bit different. There aren't a lot of things you solo and if you can solo them, they're quite easy. Maybe if half the party wipes and you still manage to salvage the run, I'd say skill is involved.
