Also, still cheating. Getting high/drunk just lets you do things you wanted to do but your conscience or good sense wouldn't let you.. It doesn't make you do anything. It's true you can lose control, but that's what your conscience/good sense is for, to give you control. It's not as if someone else is possessing your body when you're inebriated, it's still you.

Well he got cheated on... She came to him and told him and such and he said she was super apologetic... So right now I think he's looking for a way to forgive her (because hes in love with her and such and supposedly she with him) but I'm having a hard time telling him it will be ok. Something like that rarely goes away and such... will she cheat again? Will he throw that in her face when they fight? where's the trust and so on...

How long has transcribed? Was this an immediate "Oh my god heat of the moment, this just happened 20 minutes ago"? Or "three weeks ago I did this and I'm saying it now because it eats away at me that I did that" or what?

It's not impossible to work out, but it rarely does.. Even if she won't do it again, and he forgives her, it's still going to be brought up for years in heated arguments. As far as I know, a good chunk of trust is lost forever as well..

Idk... as far as I'm aware he has never cheated on her.

It's probably going to be extremely difficult for him to ever trust her again. But if he thinks they have a chance to mend it, well, that's their choice and no one else can really make it for them. :-(

I've been on both sides of the fence.. It is possible to get passed it, and the anger/sadness/lack of trust does subside, but not for quite a while.. This isn't something that's going to go away in a month or two, it'll be years, and there will always be that nagging 'what if', if he can't put his trust in the fact she won't do it again, then I would tell him to not even bother trying.. Because even if you trust they won't do it again, there's still a certain level of broken trust you feel.. Or maybe betrayed would be the correct term.

You shouldn't tell him what he wants to hear, you should tell him the truth. The above, is the truth.

I'm such an idiot /cry

Started dinner an hour ago...everyone decided they wanted tuna helper so I mixed everything up put it in the pan set to medium high to get it to boil but then...I did a bunch of other stuff and completely forgot I was even cooking...just heard some crazy crackling coming from the stove and remembered what I was originally doing...

unfortunately, an hour on medium high means dinner is completely ruined..

UGH!

Well, thank goodness we have some hotdogs I guess >.<

My grandma did something like that once, she nearly burned the house down.. With a pot of beans no less.. My first dog is the only reason we still had a house and she's still alive, he woke her up.
