Today we fired up the smoker. Smoked salmon for lunch and ribs, beef roast, pork roast, chicken, and bologna for dinner.... I've already been into the bologna. I bought all of it, *** em. Valefor.Sapphire

Found out that UPS can use trucks for upwards of 20 years and upon decommission, they are stripped of usable parts and crushed beyond recognition to "preserve the company image."
Personally, I think crushing a truck that could easily be repurposed is wasteful and makes the company look obsessive and paranoid. Even Police departments sell their fleet cars and they could be abused to a further extent than a UPS truck. (In my county you can buy used squad cars that have been stripped of their spotlight(s), console, and lights. You can buy all of these components at the same auction.) EDIT: They are also stripped of their decals, which can also be bought online. But then that 2% rolls along and I really need to talk to someone, and I know my wife just won't understand. This is why everything gets bottled up and has slowly turned me into a callus sociopath. I know I started out as a good person somewhere. But I seem to get stuck with the choices of shedding my emotions and just dealing with it myself or being a complete mess. I have come so far and refuse to revert back into alcohol fuelled depression. It just feels like I'm giving up myself for the sake of others, but that makes me feel like a selfish brat for not wanting to. Feeling horribly selfish is compounded even more so because I know how selfish I have been over the past year due to the excuse of school. One biggest thing I think that changed computers was the USB. -Most older networks at business was the Tolkien Ring network. -There wasn't switches but hubs, you had to set it up with IPs like a router. -Memory costs were around $1=1 MB, so 128MB was around $128. -You had to dial into a BBS to get shareware, no AOL. -If you had a hard drive bigger than 50MB, you had leading edge technology. -Most computer building/wish lists were done browsing thru a Computer Shopper. -You still used floppys. -You couldn't use Win95 without getting more memory than most standard computers already had. -Keyboards and mouse had PS/2 connectors. -Most likely due to costs, your computer was called a PC Clone even though it may of had the Intel 486x33/66 chip DX2. First at the AS400 stuff, yeah my mother (inb4 your mom jokes) is proficient in it). As for the rest: I think you mean token ring, and at the time mice were more than likely db-9 and keyboards din6, not ps/2 I miss SO-DIMMs though. YouTube Video Placeholder
