Now the question is what is a BSD, to google!

I thought it was a brand of underwear.
EDIT: Oh, that's BVD. Apparently 16 hours of 3 minute Garuda HM with bonus lights to upgrade to Nexus.
:| 25 actually!
500 * 3 = 1500 1500/60 = 25 before accounting for queue times and stuff If you go to the "About PS4" part of the system it will tell you it uses BSD as part of the system OS.
PS3 also uses it on the OS. Makes sense as it's a free, open source OS which allows for such use. It's mature enough to don't have idiotic bugs and has excellent support from within the industry. Microsoft sticks with a customized/stripped down build of Windows 2000 (which was originally developed for the first XBOX and then has been developed specifically for the XBOX line of products). Again, make sense as that binds developers on using Microsoft products for developing the games(Visual Studio, Direct X, Microsoft development libraries and such) and these cost nothing to MS itself. Nintendo also use GNU/"POSIX" on their stuff (Industry standards based on the UNIX/Linux/BSD coding style) but I don't know what exactly they based their stuff upon. I heard that it's much easier to port from PC to PS4 than i was from PC to PS3. The porting PC content to PS3 is what Bethesda claims caused the Skyrim DLC fiasco.

Yeah, like I said PS4 is a PC, meaning it uses a PC CPU and a PC GPU on it's design. The PS3 has a "alien design" where 3Ghz Power PC CPU (yes, remember the Power Macs from late 90s and early 2000s ?) "crunch" through game program with seven math coprocessors as aid. That requires a completely different programming model and that's what made a lot of developers pissed about the PS3. Also that's how Ken Kutaragi got fired from SONY. Animus is where it's at, buncha casuals.
*** that, Atma or GTFO.
Anna Ruthven said: » Still, I highly doubt it REALLY took Bethesda over a year to port DLC to PS3 after they ported an entire game. Personally, I think Microsoft kinda had them by the boo-boo. Xbox got DLC early, then PC (Which Microsoft has a big hand in) got them, then PS3 got them over a year later. Remember how Gabe Newell liked to bash the PS3 back then ? Now he loves it. After all SONY is Valve's biggest customer now. Ever since the big PSN hacking, Valve has been hosting the whole PSN billing and infrastructure system for SONY. They're more than friends now. They're like a single business now from a practical standpoint. I bet that has some with Valve current instance about Linux and their own Steam business model. ![]() About to start lights on second Nexus, considering whether I should be allowed to live or not.
