I was one of those people who had an online girlfriend in XI; I was 15, she was 12, she was a good friend's little sister...a fact I didn't know for quite awhile. You see, she started as a Tarutaru on his account and later got her own setup and made a Mithra, one day the three of us accomplished something and I said "We should help your sis through this when she gets her own account." after a short silence "....We just did."

I felt kinda funny that his little sister and I were...whatever you want to call that, and I was a tad annoyed that he didn't tell me for a few mins but it's not like I'd have felt any different had I known, he told me he didn't mind if she was ok with it.

Anyway, I miss her, she was awesome.

Back when I faked my age(till about freshmen year) I accidentally started two relationships... Second one was more seriously than the first but the first one I remember her younger brother getting attached to me as a mentor. I really miss those two and I kinda wish I hadn't lied about my age back then...

Her brother eventually transferred to Hades and she lost interest when school started back up, we never really had a break up. Every girl after that ended badly, I think that first one was just lucky, tbh. Not a good idea to look for girls in MMOs on the assumption they will have similar interests simply because they play video games.

I started FFXI when I was ~13. The first linkshell I was in treated me like ***when they knew about it. Since that linkshell didn't last me much longer than a month and a half before it broke(end game drama) when I moved forward for the next 3-4 years I lied about my age. Funny thing, no one I was friends with believed me right away when I came out about it.

What were you reading?

Ah. I started at the same age and luckily had no issues because of it, actually had the most fun back when I was 13-16.
