The fact that I don't wish to divulge my concept for my project too much or completely kinda answers the question. So lets just agree to disagree and no, it doesn't evolve into a different weapon.

That depends if your bugzapper is busy daily. I think only the most diehard that don't know anything else but the game have stayed. Rarely see any "new" players.

I just caught myself being a cheap-***. I didn't need to do maintenance on my truck because we decided to take my dad's truck hunting but it still needs shocks eventually. I'm home for the week till Thanksgiving dinner so I take a walk to the back of the property and look under the wheel well of my 1947 Jeep and think to myself as I step up onto the bumper "this has good shocks, I wonder if they'll fit?"
