It's not quite that simple lol.. There are multiple Salvia plants.. What you want is Divinorum. And even then just the leaves are generally worthless on their own.. You can bundle them and chew them, the oldest way of using them, but the power they pack and what everyone is talking about is extracts. Ideally you want 20x standardized extract.. Anything below that and you really won't experience it's full power, and anything more is just basically wasted, beyond 20x you can't really discern a difference, but that doesn't stop companies from charging 2-3x the price for 40x that they do for 20x..

Basically without a working refining method, Salvia D is useless.

If you have questions about Salvia, feel free to PM me, before I ever actually used it, I spent weeks, even months researching it.

they suggest there's a correlation between a high fiber diet and a healthy lifestyle, but theyre not sure of all the factors at work.

My hours are cut this week.
What a bummer. Maybe I can pick some up from another store, but that means walking there /sigh.

My dad either is or used to be a barista for his own coffee stand.
He was able to make all sorts of neat patterns and shapes with steamed milk in lattes. Though I don't really know where he's at now. Haven't been in contact with him in years...

I haven't seen my child's father in about 5 years. He emails me every so often, but never to see her, never asks about her or anything.

I'd love to get back in touch with him.
I initially wanted to go see him this summer, but I have huge plans to go to chicago which fill up my resources of time and money alike.
Perhaps I can arrange something afterwards, or at the very least give a phone call.
But it's strange, after being incommunicado for so many years, I become overwhelmed with an unexplainable hazy sense of shame or too-far-gone to fully establish contact.
Anyone else ever feel that way when it comes to contacting someone from a long long time ago?

I feel that way with my best friend from high school. We've become 2 completely different people. She turned into a sorority girl, I became a family woman. I haven't seen her since my wedding in 2009. She got in contact with me last week for my birthday, and I really can't bring myself to go out with her. I feel like it would be painfully awkward.

Yeah. Exactly, painfully awkward.
Hi Dad, haven't talked to you in like 5 years, but how's it going?!
~_~
Just can't bring myself to do it. And I feel guilty about it every time.
Just one of those vicious cycles that has no beginning, end, nor solution.

Anyways, I'm dozing off here.
I'll catch you all later.

I wouldn't feel so badly about it--for the most part, we choose who is in the circle of our lives. If it is too hard, or too difficult, or too painful to keep up a relationship or friendship on a personal level, we all tend to let those lower-priority relationships of that nature go by the wayside.

The only thing to think about, though, is if something (catastrophic) ever happened to that particular person...and whether the convenience of not going through the trouble of reaching out to them (and reconciling years without talking) would outweigh the potential guilt you might feel if you don't ever get a chance to talk to them again. Some people are ultimately worth the effort to call at that point, others sadly might not be.

It's worth it. I hadn't seen my mom from the time I was 9 until I was 20. I'm 25 now and still haven't seen her, actually, but we talk on the phone. She was so happy when I called her the first time that she cried. We talked for over 3 hours and formed a new relationship. I'm very excited for June, my husband and I will be flying to go see her!

But as for old friends... meh, maybe not so much worth it. I have a bunch of my old high school friends on my facebook now, and it feels so awkward. One of them owns her own company now, one is a chef, one has a baby, one moved to Japan to teach English as a second language. I don't know what we'd have in common to talk about. And I've changed so much since then too, I feel like if I really talked to any of them, they would be completely confused and not even know me. :/

I decided to take Zahrah's advice and not cut it up to the layers. So it will look dumb for a few more months, but it'll be worth it in the end, I think!

text once to say sup had a fun time, etc..do NOT call the very next day :3 It *for some ladies* comes off a little to creeperish and desperate. A light text says hey I had fun and wanted to let you know without the constraints of making convo~

=D Also don't stalk her FB for the 3 days (something my girl Tricia did this past weekend /facepalm)
