Cooked in a cast iron skillet all the way! Wouldn't go as far as specifying cast iron, but yeah.. Skillet or get it away from me.. I understand why they wouldn't in a restaurant, especially if they use it a lot (just working at Sonic was bad enough, it all got cooked in the morning, if I had to specially cook it every time someone ordered it, I'd of went nuts) but it's just not the same unless it's cooked in a skillet. I guess im spoiled because my family is from the south and I grew up on cooking from cast iron skillets. I love the flavor of meats cooked in them. Bacon, well any meats in general, taste sooooo good when it's cooked in a cast iron skillet. I've lived in the same town my entire life, right on the Gulf Coast in Texas, but I didn't grow up with cast iron... My grandpa was a plant worker and made good money, so growing up we had the 'best' stuff.. Which meant, I guess, lighter weight, non-stick pans..
I'd actually prefer cast iron, because they hold temperature much better.. Kinda hard to get a nice sear on a piece of meat if the pan drops like a hundred degrees as soon as you add the meat.

You have to heat the thing up first which isn't exactly quick <_<

Yeah, I've noticed that when I cook. We have other pans, but I almost always use a cast iron skillet when I cook. I also use them when I bake certain stuff (buttermilk buscuits yummmmmm)because they just taste so much better.

Naw, didn't hurt me but I've been there and done that with a previous job. That can be annoying. I had to move 40+ boxes of that fountain syrup they use for the soda machines, only to be told that they wanted it moved to another spot waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over yonder... That was a fun day.
