True, a majority of content is going to be 24-30 FPS anyways when it comes to TVs, so I don't get why they bother advertising it. Also unless your TV plays nice with your GPU, it often caps at 60 Hz anyways. Unless there's something I've been doing wrong all this time :/
doubt it, I've been kind of laughing at people going crazy over the 120hz since their inception, it's (for most people) just a gimmick, kind of like the "gaming router" nonsense.
Yes it can produce a better "smoother" picture, if you're using the right equipment and what you're watching (or if playing a game, playing) was made to be watched like that, kind of like people saying the 360 is 1080, it's not, it's upsampled.
Call me a purest or whatever but I'll spend what's good for me, and I have don't have a lick of problem with my old fashioned 60hz :D
Maybe if I were going all out and getting like dual 980s or something then I'd bother.
