from what we know so far, they'll have a more efficient TDP by a magnitude of 4 times; ergo, they'll run much cooler with much less heatsink capability... exactly four times less heat dissipation required. it's also going to be using a more efficient transistor arrangement in order to meet the requirements of a 14nm manufacturing process, and on a less interesting note, will reduce motherboard sizes by about 25% or allow motherboard manufacturers to pack in more goodies for almost the same cost as current boards.
they'll be similar to Kepler -> Maxwell; far more power and heat efficiency in addition to much higher overheads on performance. also cheaper DDR4 support

Blergh... That is off laptop specs at the moment though right? ._.; I don't think I'll be able to spend another chunk of change on broadwell when it comes out. Supposed to be on the 2011v3 platform if it runs DDR4 then?
I got a 4790k in hopes of being able to OC it to 4.7k+ without dicking with voltage.
Man, I never played much FFXIV 1.0* but that opening scene/song still makes me *** tear up.
