*** it, getting a haswell i7 and new mobo. -.- The fx series has been nothing but a nightmare. Here's to hoping broadwell wasn't worth waiting for anyway.
Apparently the Friomisi Earring from Kumhau sells for 500k. I am beyond okay with that.

Here's to hoping broadwell wasn't worth waiting for anyway. from what we know so far, they'll have a more efficient TDP by a magnitude of 4 times; ergo, they'll run much cooler with much less heatsink capability... exactly four times less heat dissipation required. it's also going to be using a more efficient transistor arrangement in order to meet the requirements of a 14nm manufacturing process, and on a less interesting note, will reduce motherboard sizes by about 25% or allow motherboard manufacturers to pack in more goodies for almost the same cost as current boards. they'll be similar to Kepler -> Maxwell; far more power and heat efficiency in addition to much higher overheads on performance. also cheaper DDR4 support PUP if it ever comes to 14

So many people doing ZNMs on Bismarck now, even the T2's have hit a record high of 10k Zeni a pop.

That is off laptop specs at the moment though right? ._.; I don't think I'll be able to spend another chunk of change on broadwell when it comes out. Supposed to be on the 2011v3 platform if it runs DDR4 then? I got a 4790k in hopes of being able to OC it to 4.7k+ without dicking with voltage. Man, I never played much FFXIV 1.0* but that opening scene/song still makes me *** tear up.
