Isn't it just the norm that guys hit on girls? That's the only experience I have with men anyway, never met one irl who just wanted to be my friend, there's always some sexual interest.

So it doesn't really surprise me, why I always shrug off such occurrances(unless they're particularly unpleasant).

I've always been able to have a clear line between women interests and women friends. It isn't that I don't find a woman attractive or anything, but physical only goes so far. I tend to get along with women better and have an easier time just talking or chatting with women. Feel like I don't have to have my guard up around a girl.

I'm kind of an *** and guys have always just been harder to get along with because of it. It isn't that I can't be friends with guys, it is just easier to be around women so it is what I prefer.

Well, I know in my case I'm never actively trying to sleep with anyone, but that doesn't mean I won't appreciate a good-looking woman. I don't leer. But I at least notice, maybe take a double take if she's particularly attractive.

There's some things that are just biologically going to happen. You don't have to be conciously trying to sleep with someone, or on the prowl so to speak.

But there's still just certain instincts that kick in, or that you fight. Even if a girl is dressing provocatively I do my absolute best to not stare. But that doesn't mean you don't at least take a peak before you focus elsewhere.

I also know that despite being quite equality-minded, I still treat women differently. I was raised to be a gentleman and I do my best to be so. Even the people I deal with at work, I generally tend to be a bit more gentle or even-tempered with an irate or labile woman vs. a man of the same temperments.

As far as male-female relationships without sexual interest...I think it just depends how you approach it. Active sexual interest or latent?

Because I have zero active sexual interest with anyone on the planet - male or female - who isn't my wife. Latently speaking, is it even possible to meet a member of the opposite (or same, in the case of homosexuals) who you don't at least briefly classify as a potential mate? As far as I can tell it's not.

That's biology.

Physical only goes so far, it's true. But I bet it does go to a certain point and is probably not entirely discounted, either.

Google maps has failed me horribly today. Had to come up to work to get some titers and a Hep A vaccination (my paperwork for that one seems to of vanished). Maps took me to a vacant lot on the wrong damned street for some reason.

The real place was actually 1/2 mile down the road from the main office and I felt stupid I didn't know where it was.

I'm at a loss why this is so confusing for these nurses. I flat out said I need the vaccination for Hep A and meningitis and a titer for varicella. I have paper work that says the exact same thing.

Some how that turned into MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and varicella vaccination to them. Just how?

Destiny is really working well for me atm. The music is well done, I have no complaints so far. I'm super-intro noobie FPS player, and I can actually play decently enough to have fun.

I think experienced FPS players might think the game is too easy, and that certain things are just a grind because there is no challenge to them. However, missions have levels attached to them so say you're level 4, and you sign up for a level 6 mission, the difficulty attached to it is Hard.

I'm currently a Level 5 Warlock Awoken, and plan to be a Sunsinger at level 15.

I'll probably make a 2nd character if I can stay interested in the game and try range out.

What kind of place is it? Hotel? Chain restaurant? Privately owned place?

Service industries tend to turn you against them pretty hard after a while. Being a line cook and other lower-level kitchen helper positions generally lends itself to getting treated like ***by everyone higher up, and most of the time...that means everyone.

I can honestly say that while at Walmart it wasn't the work itself I hated. It was the way I was treated by the company and some customers.

There were people there who I was actually able to help with their home electronics and cellular questions and needs and it's nice being able to help people and have them be grateful in return for a job well done.

But inevitably that isn't enough to stop you from dreading going to work and dealing with management and/or the awful customers.

Chain restaurant.
I can understand all of that, I mean I just got out of a job because of those exact reasons. Loved the job, loved many of my co-workers, and loved my customers. but management made me want to stab someone on a daily basis.

But it's one thing to hate management, or have a specific reason for hating something. It's another when I can ask you straight on what you don't like and you can't give me an answer.

If you don't enjoy your job, you only have yourself to blame for making yourself miserable.

I don't entirely agree with the absolutist simplicity of this statement as it disregards circumstances beyond your control sometimes, but I do agree with the general mindset most of the time and people are often loathe to admit that some of the circumstances they claim are beyond their control actually aren't or -- at least -- weren't at one time.
